You should all be registered now with an Educational account for Animoto.

The site allows you to design and share videos using some simple templates - you can change background themes and music for example.

As I have mentioned, I want to see more effort from people to integrate video technologies into their blogs - interviews, analysis, personal reflections etc.

Have a play with the software and see what you can come up with.

Progress

We are now approaching a fortnight until the half term holiday. Before half term you should have completed 90% of research and planning, and be in a position to take your photos for your magazine over the holiday break. You need to be ensuring all work has been completed and uploaded to your blog. This includes (but is not limited to):

 Deconstructions
 Mood board
 Inspirations
 Initial proposal
 Survey results and analysis
 Photoshop experience
 Preliminary task and evaluations
 Industry research
 Rationales for project/flatplans
 Recce/timetabling for photo shoot

 I would expect you to have an absolute minimum of 25 posts on your blog - some people will have considerably more. The number of posts is indicative of the amount of time and effort you are putting into your blog and will assist you in developing a detailed and thorough portfolio of research and planning.
